Take two of these and let it go already.I know I've made many posts about this IA but it just keeps coming back to haunt me...lol
Basically put food from my plate into a tupperware in a school dining hall. Even though it was buffet style I still got an IA bc you're not allowed to take food out of the dining hall. Any record of this was destroyed due to the nature of the sanction, but I still reported it.
However, I realize that I did not mention that the dining hall was buffet-style in my primary. I just said "in my dining hall". Also, this was while I was eating at my seat - I was not in the area where you get food. Should I add these details in some of the sections in secondaries where they ask "is there anything else you would like to know"? I just think it makes a difference, since it wasn't the type of dining hall where you pay for each thing you get. Also, I was already at my seat in the middle of a meal. I'm thinking I could add these details and also discuss other things in those sections so that the IA isn't the main focus.
No -- he received an IA because he took food from an all you can eat buffet to consume later off the premises. This increases costs for everyone who doesn't take more than they can eat. It's pretty standard at any buffet (at least it was back in the good old days when there were such a thing as buffets 🙂).Just leave it alone, no need to call more attention to it than necessary.
Also, your school gave you an IA because you took your leftovers with you? That's harsh.
