I am a student in the class of 2021 and ultimately seeking to be licensed in the state of SC following graduation. I am attending school out of state and my school offers the CITA exam. SC accepts CITA, CDCA, CRDTS, and SRTA. In June they decided to honor the manikin version of the CDCA, CRDTS, and SRTA, but the did not NOT mention the manikin version of CITA. So, correct me if I am wronge, but for the class of 2020 that graduated from my school, they would not be able to get a license in SC, right? And if my school only offers the manikin CITA this year, and the SC board of dentistry doesn't change their policy then I would not be eligible for a license, right? Does anyone have advice as to how to handle this situation?
I’d email the state board directly to figure out their requirements before you spend several thousand dollars on a licensing exam they may or may not accept.

Call the board. Go on the exams websites and see if the necessary exam could be taken at the different school. With a manikin it's much easier then a patient
