I currently have 6 MD interviews which I’m very grateful for, however I’m wondering if a reason I get rejected post interview could be that I am lacking in clinical experience? I have roughly 350 hours but this is spread across clinical volunteering and shadowing.

apologies in advance if this is hyper neurotic.
how do you think interviews went? also, if you dont mind - did all of them reject you, or some waitlisted?

I actually have no decisions yet this was just out of curiosity in case I am waitlisted or rejected. I think interviews went ok? But I’m a terrible judge of my performance in graded assessment situations.

If you got that interview (and 6 MDs isn't a sneeze) then you've piqued enough interest.

Make SURE you're ready for that as a question though. The worst thing you could do is be caught flat footed.

Take two of these, because here on the planet Earth, 350 hrs of clinical exposure is NOT lacking, unless it's mostly shadowing. You only need some 50 hours of shadowing.
