How much time do you have left at the end of your CARS section? You could be going too fast. Do you feel like you're guessing? I know this seems like a hurr durr thing to say but there IS only one answer. In my experience, you could always definitely rule out 2 answers, and then do your best to make a very logical case why one of the remaining 2 is the best. I know it's hard to do in time constraints but that's what practice is for. It also seems like you may be getting burnt out.

P/S is highly variable, and to me all you can do is memorize as much vocab as possible lol. You ARE in a good spot though! Good luck!

Finish with 5-10 minutes left at least on Fl4. I definitely think that might be an issue, but it seems like when I can't find evidence in the passage for a question, it really takes me a long time to find evidence in a passage, it's almost like some sort of induced blindness haha. Like for me CARS just seems like I either get it 100%, or it's a complete guess. Most of the questions I got wrong showed a clear misunderstanding of what the question was asking or the part of the passage relevant to it (i.e. I literally immediately crossed out the right answer).

Also, I'm definitely feeling burnt out. Would you suggest taking a few days off or something? I still haven't moved my test date, May 1, but if I do so, would that be appropriate? Obviously before test day I should spend like 3 days relaxing so.

edit: I also feel like there's some sort of self-induced fear to CARS. I always ate **** in the ACT reading and I feel like it's gatekeeping me. On practice, I do pretty well on CARS (usually never more than 1 wrong per passage) but then get battered on FLs.

Yeah I would say both with CARS and P/S, but more so CARS, you should be scrambling to finish up those last few questions. At least flag ones you feel you might be guessing, and use those 5-10 minutes remaining to review your flags and make sure you KNOW why you're picking the answer you are. My P/S skyrocketed when I decided I wouldn't submit with time still on the board.

I think taking a day or two off would be a good idea, even with a 5/1 test. You obviously have a great grasp on all the content you need and just need to get a breather, come back and refocus with a few new study tips and I think you have a great chance to hit your target.

I think a lot of people sort of fear CARS, which is fair it's a very difficult section. Just remember you're a big ******* baller and CARS ain't **** to you. You got this
