Take this question to the dental board of the state you want to practice in

Has anyone experienced or heard of what happens when someone is charged/convicted of a felony or misdemeanor during dental school? (any time between starting D1 and before graduation) I understand that convictions can make licensure difficult to attain, but is dismissal from dental school possible if the charges don't relate to dental school at all, and if no jail/prison time is served?
