I've heard about T20 and academic medicine stuff but would you mind explaining more about it? Do people who graduated from T20 (or T10) have more competitive advantage than let's say T21-T40 schools? Just that I not very informed on this topic.Doesn’t matter unless you want to pursue academic medicine
I have heard various definitions and I’m not sure if mine is exactly correct, but to me academic medicine usually refers to clinicians who practice and conduct research at teaching hospitals and or medical schools as opposed to private practice. believe that the term mainly applies to tenure track positions but I’m not sure if it includes non-tenure track physicians, lecturers, researchers etc.I've heard about T20 and academic medicine stuff but would you mind explaining more about it? Im referring to marching into a competitive residency specialty from med school, not a specific residency location/ hospital entirely.Doesn’t matter unless you want to pursue academic medicine
