I'm also a latino from TX, I had the same GPA funnily enough and I got into a couple of DO schools already out of state with a 506 MCAT and decent extracurriculars. I didn't hear anything back from any TX schools besides early rejections.

I'm a little unfamiliar with the app process. When should you hear back from schools? Did you get interviews at Texas schools or did they just send rejections? Sorry I'm still not sure how it works

To be fair I applied really late for TX schools (July) so I'm not exactly sure. I didn't get any II's from TX schools, just soft and hard R's. The DO calendar runs a little bit longer
