Since your sGPA was 2.5 with your 1st bachelors and 3.96 with your 2nd bachelors, why did your overall sGPA increase only minimally to 2.56 after your 2nd bachelors ? Did you take only 1 or 2 science courses with your 2nd bachelors ?Based on the AMCAS/AACOMAS Undergrad GPA Calculator (I've improved the AMCAS/AACOMAS GPA Calculator Spreadsheet) the combined GPAs including repeated classes are cGPA: 3.01 and sGPA: 2.56
I'm still waiting on the verification from AACOMAS to get more accurate numbers.
With your MCAT of 498 and low undergraduate GPA you should apply to more schools this week and hope that some schools will interview you.During the post-bacc I retook 5 of the science classes (bio 1/2, biochem, physics 1/2) that I got C's or lower in before and just did another 6 neuroscience courses so I could improve the BCPM through the subject I was good at. The rest of the courses were in psych as the degree was neuro/psych. For my post-bacc I did a total of 56 credits and based on my calculations I wouldve needed an additional 36 credits of A's to get my cumulative undergrad sGPA upto a 2.75 because I ultimately did horrible my first two years.
My app finally got verified and here are the GPAs as follows:
Cumulative Undergraduate GPA 2.93
Cumulative Undergraduate Science is 2.53
Graduate 3.94
Graduate science 3.92
Overall science 2.78
Hopefully this gives a better idea of my situation
Work on the test anxiety!!! This is fixable!Thank you for the school list @Faha
@Goro I am planning on retaking the MCAT early 2023 I'm not exactly sure what happened I think I got in my head after the first section and it messed me up because from the aamc practice tests my progression was 503->503->510->513. So i was expecting something around at least a 507. I think the anxiety of the test day and thinking too much messed me up, but I am going to prepare for all scenarios with this next retake.
