I understand you probably want to reach out, vent, and get some sort of immediate vindication. You want some sort of resolution, because not knowing probably feels worse than either outcome. However, this is just about the worst place to ask, and putting this into the public space is only likely to make the situation worse. My best recommendation is to delete the thread, work closely with your lawyer, and contact someone you can trust at your school who is unlikely or unable to send this up the chain and make it a known issue.

Noted, thanks. I am working closely with my lawyer. Unfortunately, I don't feel that I have anyone I can trust at school who is unlikely to send it up the chain.

OP, I did read your thread before you deleted. I know it's not exactly the same situation, but just wanted to let you know that I also had a speeding ticket for going 20 over the speed limit around the time I matched last year. Anything over 15 is a misdemeanor in the state I got it from, and my residency ran my background check before I was able to clear it from my record, and it wasn't an issue. Just FYI.

Thanks, I really appreciate that!
