Remove ICOM. TCOM admits few non residents You should apply to more schools since your MCAT is 501, which is well below the median for several of the schools on your list. I suggest adding these schools:
WVSOM
MU-COM
VCOM (all schools except Monroe)
UIWSOM
TUNCOM
NYIT-AR
PCOM Georgia and South Georgia

Check if any of your schools are PREview or Casper schools. (DMU is the only DO program doing PREview, I think.)

Are you eligible for FAP or AACOMAS fee assistance?

I don't really otherwise have a sense of your purpose as a physician or what makes you "cool" as a future colleague/medical student, based on what has been disclosed.

appreciate the time you took to reply. i’m trying not to disclose too much and was hoping to get some feedback if i should apply to DO despite my low MCAT. i’m eligible for FAP and should be eligible for AACOMAS fee assistance as well
Understood (why I said the way I said it 🙂 ), and just making sure from what you described. I think it would be smart to apply DO given your MCAT. It's the hours that concern me.

FAP/AACOMAS FAP is important to be eligible for fee waivers for Casper and PREview. Figure out if you have to take them and factor it into your list of schools or things to do to complete your application.
