That's like saying, I'm engaged to Lord Farquaad but I really want to be with you. Makes a great movie (Shrek). Not sure it's a great strategy for an LOI... some graduate programs may be more influenced by this, but medical school is not so much.

PS. ftr Emory is not as bad as Lord Farquaad. Emory is actually a really good school thanks to the depth of the Coca Cola contribution to the endowment.
