- 850 Non-clinical volunteering: Dance teacher for children with special needs & 1 other school org
- 900 Leadership: President of 2 service organizations
So I'm unsure for Rush. You have a lot of hours, but I'm not sure these activities will align with what they would be looking for with respect to service orientation. Also, your work as a dance teacher seems to be a natural extension of teaching from your hobbies, though I'll give you a little credit fo teaching to special needs students. What activities show service orientation where you are in community with those experiencing distress?

Casper and PREview?

Both service organizations I served as president were for vulnerable populations. One of them being UNICEF, advocating and providing relief to children in third world countries and the other being an organization that provides clean drinking water for rural villages in third world countries. Teaching dance to special needs students was also service to my local community.
So both of these involve fundraising for international vulnerable populations, perhaps some social advocacy. But it doesn't show service orientation according to the AAMC competency definition. I still don't see any service orientation hours.
