thank you for your advice. I considered the schools you added, but I initially removed them because of these reasons:


Jefferson and Penn State - MSAR says oldest date that prereqs can be completed is June 2020 and May 2018 respectively, but since I am a nontrad who started college in 2016, I believe most of my prereqs would not be considered acceptable at these schools.

Ponce and Virginia Commonwealth - at least one of my stats (cGPA, sGPA, MCAT) are below the 10th percentile or very close to 10th percentile

Loyola - MSAR says 1.45% interview rate for OOS students



Should I still consider adding these schools to my list? I'll definitely add Methodist (if available) and Kaiser to my list.

How is this updated school list? As far as I know, all of the OOS public schools I included have at least moderate OOS friendliness.

I also considered adding UC Riverside, but I don't live in Riverside or Inland Empire so I didn't think I would have a chance. But now I'm hearing they are very friendly to non-trads, so I'm not sure.

Some of those OOS state public schools are not as friendly as they seem. For Marshall and West Virginia the non residents are from bordering states. Half of Toledo non residents are from Michigan. Utah has regional preference. A MCAT of 510 is not competitive for non residents for the SUNYs or U Wisconsin
