Hi! I've actually posted a couple weeks ago, but I got my MCAT back this morning, and ended up scoring higher than my guesstimated score, so my school list probably needs some editing.
I have merged your threads. This is why we ask you do not post a WAMC without an official score back. It does not help anybody when you do not have the updated information.

Concurring, you know that honesty and integrity are must-have traits for future physicians, right? Presenting an anticipated MCAT score (511) instead of a real one (517) to get a school list is intentionally dishonest behavior. Thank goodness your mistakes on online forums can be easily disregarded. You may have to beg for forgiveness the next time to an academic dean if you aren't an honest broker.

I'm really sorry for the confusion my post caused. When I mentioned a 511, it was based on where my practice tests were consistently averaging at the time. I hadn't gotten my official score yet, but I was trying to get ahead on building my school list since I was preparing to apply this cycle.

Looking back, I can see how that came across as misleading, and I should have been much clearer that it was an estimate, not an official score. I genuinely respect the importance of honesty and integrity in this process, and I appreciate the reminder. I'll be more careful with how I word things going forward. Thank you for holding the community to that standard.
