I just came home to a stack of rejections. I guess average stats and a hardship story dont mean jack when you are from the underclass. Medical school is bourgoise and wishes to remain that way I suppose 🙁 🙁

You probably had/have something else lacking in your application and a hardship story can only be a good thing if you don't come across as whining and that you actually learned something from it/can show improvement.
