great stories guys,

I haven't finished my journey nor have I started yet but I just wanted to share my early stages in hope that someday I get to finish this sory.

I was 20 when I asked myself what I wanted to do with my life, I was a graduating student BSIT so I enrolled myself to a culinary arts school, got a part time job in a kitchen and I loved it. What inspired me was the happiness of seeing the satisfaction and joy that you bring to a customer while eating your creation, from then on I said to myself that I wanted a job that can help people, but cooking is just a hobby for me then My dad had a stroke from his Diabetes and Hypertension when he got home from the hospital I was in charge of taking care of him, to my surprise I already knew so much on how to care for him medically, I have a cousin who is a nurse before maybe a years ago before my dad had his stroke She tough me (because I force her) how to take BP with the Sphygmomanometer, different parenteral injections, Nutrition, I even know basic anatomy and their function and every basic First aid there is(which is to my classmate was pretty useless, I was always the the friend who knows a lot of things they don't care about). i studied this because of the idea that maybe someday someone will drop infront of me and I should know what to do and also because it fascinates me the human body. Then it hit me, I should be in the medical field I did a lot of research I could be a Paramedic, a Nurse, a Physicians Assistant it all sounded exciting to me but why do I want to be a doctor which takes 10 yrs to do and practice when all I want to do is just help, It's simple really I WANT TO BE GREAT I'm not the smartest in the class I'm not the best there is, but I believe I have potential and this is a dream I have to realize.

Now I'm 22 worked for 2 companies already I am an EXPAT working in DBX making my way as a 3d artist but medicine is all I can think about while making mock up designs I read medical journals just to keep me awake. I required myself 5 yrs of self studying, volunteering to more medical related activities and after that 5 yrs If I did good and earned enough I'll start enrolling for real.

Don't know if this inspires you, but we all have to start somewhere.

Best of luck to all of us.
