Chem: When determining the conjugate, we always look for the acid on the right side? I mean its just weird how it was put here - Says "in the forward reaction-" but its actually a reaction that goes in both directions, so its not a forward reaction.... Am I just being a philosopher here? I usually look for protonated bases as being conjugate acids.
Math: so since cos is positive, and sec= 1/cos, wouldnt sec also be positive? Making choice d the correct choice as well?
Also, with an equation like: 2x^2+x-6 , how do we factor (not using the quadratic formula i mean) to get (2x-3)(x+2)???
