I thought my interview for both went well (one was closed, one was open).. is the decision coming down to my stats? Would they pick someone else who had a similar interview to mine but has better stats?

I mean, If you have similar interviews and the other has better stats, I think they’d choose the other

Yeah, i mean I get it...
so at the end of the day, even if your interview went well, stats still prevail :/

The better the stats, the better the chances. Regardless though, it doesn’t come down to ONLY stats at the end. There are SO MANY other factors involved. Just wait it out and be patient.

Depends on whether they liked you or not too,
So it also could be pretty subjective

Stats will alway be king. For most schools, the interview is just another score on your application.

Same, two solid interviews, two waitlists...same, one open, one closed. Both out of state.

Yes, to the one that accepts LOI, the other does not accept any communication. Fingers crossed.

Yes, I did it for the first one (before I received the second one). However, the second one is my top choice so I'm so sad because I should have waited to sent my letter of intent to the second school..

Nope, nothing yet :/
