1) I thought there was a re-set button somewhere on QBank where you could start all over to recalculate your scores. Does anyone know where this is?

2) What is IV QBank, and how have people used it?

Thanks!

I used qbank last year and took the test then, so it may be different now, but there was a statement at the time somewhere in their literature explaining that they did not offer a "re-set" feature (presumably this is to discourage sharing a subscription). I was annoyed because I went through all the questions and wanted to start over again.

IV qbank came with my subscription. It's more of the same, but the questions are in groups of 4-6 based on a single vignette. I didn't find it as helpful as the regular qbank. Hope that helps.

yea, I just learned too that we can't reset Qbank. Very disappointing, especially since there is no mention of that in the literature.

I've gone through about 75% of Qbank, but I started using it during the semester before tests... so, I worked through most of the Pharm and Path questions before I ever really started prepping. Viola, now when I set up a random test with unused questions there are few Path/pharm/micro questions. So, if I use Qbank, I have to set up tests with "all" items... and the problem with that is the tests I set up seem to have many of the same questions over and over.

I don't know if they realize it, but that no reset thingee REALLY limits the usefulness of the product. At the very least, they should warn prospective buyers of the problem and explain that using it early could affect the way they hope to use it for board prep. Instead, they recommend using it the way I did.

Thumbs down to the Kaplan folks.
