OK hey all,
So i hear some schools require pictures.....what kinda pics? like passport and if so should we dress up or you think just normal pic is good enough, maybe a collared shirt and all........
SECOND.....ok so what if u had nothing to do this summer.....would you A. Take a class back at school or B. Stay home and volunteer or C. take a class at school and volunteer.

You're talking about pictures you send to schools when you apply right? Schools just want a little 2x2 photograph of yourself. Business attire is appropriate (what you would wear to the interview).

As for your summer activities... just do what ever you want. It's up to you. Do something if you are bored or do nothing if you are tired. You shouldn't be asking us how to live your life. 🙂

Tinman, why are you giving him the wrong pic advice. NAJ wear something outrageous so you stand out from the pool of boring pics. Ok, so I'm kidding Tinman is right. Wear interview appropriate attire. 🙂

you dont need to wear a suit or anything. just a nice dress shirt and the pants dont matter b/c they wont see it! get your hair done and brush your teeth, stand in front of a plain wall and say CHEESE! in a 2"x2" picture... all you should be showing is your face and some shoulders (not bare). kinda like a passport picture, but you can make yourself looks as good as you want. no miserable driver's license picture. 🙂 oh! one more thing... your shirt can never be TOO straight.. so IRON IT!!!!!

for having a free summer... go shadow or find a job in a dental office if you're not taking classes... if you are taking classes.... still find a place to shadow!

No they don't discriminate (thank goodness for me). They just want to be able to put a face to the application. That's all.

I can tell you right now, they really don't care about what you wear in your pictures. I was wearing a T-shirt and a hoodie because I had extra passport pictures taken. I sent them in because they were the only ones I looked normal in (I'm a HORRIBLE picture taker.)

But a dress shirt would be nice. But I'd say looking demented in a nice shirt or looking normal in a dressed down shirt. Send in the normal one. No one wants a picture of you blinking or looking stoned. 😛

make-up might work, but they're bound to see you at the potential interview anyway. maybe go with a professional? or fix it up in photoshop?

don't be so hard on yourself. I think that as long as you have good hygiene, you won't be too ugly to work with. bad hygiene trumps ugliness, at least imo.

damn dude, u must be pretty ugly, usually only chicks talk about themselves being ugly.....are u a chick..if so, show a little skin it that pic, make it ur own personal center fold...oooo. i better stop im getting a little excited here. lol, just joking...just send them a picture and stop worrying about it, whatta u gonna do, let the chips fall where they may, u can't change ur face, unless u nip tuck i guess, but still........
