Hi fellas,

Ok, so I am a lil more than two weeks out until D-day and here's my status:

UW- 90% done, gonna complete by tomorrow.
FA- 70% 1x somewhat done, still in progress.
RR- 95% done- MSK and skin disorders remain to be completed.
BRS Physio- 1x done.
Goljan audio transcripts- just 3 systems done- was reserving this for last two weeks of final run through.

My question is : which practice test would be best at this point : NBME 7 or one of the UWSA's ( which form)? I plan to take two of these.

I had planned to do just three tests max in my schedule.Finished with NBME 6 at start of study and the free 143 almost 2 weeks ago.

I am thinking UWSA would be good at this point since I have 200 questions I can learn from and maybe reserve the NBME 7 a week from now.

Unless someone has a better idea.

Thanks for helping out 👍

Which form of UWSA would be ideal? I hear # 2 is kinda easy and the other somewhat tough.

Does it matter at all? They seem to be fairly accurate predictors.

I took UWSA-1 a while back and it was definitely tough. I haven't taken 2 yet, but I agree that it'll be a better use of your time since you can learn so much more from it. Reviewing the questions takes a while, so I would do it now rather than later. Besides, you can use an NBME to kick you into action a week or so before the exam...

Ok so UWSA # 1 for now.NBME 7 a week later.

Did you guys like 'wrap up' loose ends on FA or revise anything right before practice tests or did you just dive into it?

Thanks for your inputs!

I took NBME 6 (school sponsored) pre-studying while still in school, and UWSA1 ~1/4 through my first pass (I think I'd finished biochem, heme, and one other system). I'm taking NBME 7 today post-first pass... no 'final review' of stuff before doing it, just so I can have a baseline score.

Hope this helps 🙂
