Does any one know school which 2 years rotation vs 1 year rotation, which one is better?

and school with 3 years lecturing +1 year of rotation
2 years of lecturing + 2 years of rotation.
2 years of lecturing + 1 year of rotation.

Which program is better?

Thank you, I appreciate any answer 🙂

Can't say I've ever heard of a program that does 2 yrs of lectures then 2 years of rotations.

It depends on your learning style.... are you an independent learner or do you do better with lectures. 2+1 could save you money and get you into the job market... 3+1 gives you more didactic knowledge... 2+2 gives you more practice...

Personally I would do 2+1 followed by 3+1.

3+1 IMO, the way I've seen it implemented is these 2+2 kids get loaded up with freakin' useless community rotations x 3.

Doesn't Touro in NYC work on this schedule?

Yep. Only thing is that it's not 2 years of rotations. You have 2 years to complete your rotations. There were some students in my class who completed their 10-11 rotations by like September of their P4 year, and thus were off until graduation.

Me, I spaced out my rotations so I had a month off after every rotation.

Many of the higher ranked schools are 2.5 years of didactic course work and 1.5 years of rotations. Those schools generally have more actual rotations than the 3+1 schools, not just more months off. Good rotations can teach you as much in a month as you would learn in a semester in a classroom, bad rotations are a waste of everyone's time.

I personally think 2+2 or 2.5+1.5 would be way better than 3+1, too of rx school is bs that they can put in together but didn't
