It's been a while since I posted but I'm needing feedback on how I'm doing. I hit a bump in the road with Organic Chemistry and I'm wondering how its going to affect my overall chances. Here's my science grades and my estimated GPA.

Biology I/II: B/B
General Chemistry I/II: B/B-
Physics I/II: A/A
Organic Chemistry I/II: B/C
Physiology: A-
Comparative Anatomy: A-
Genetics: A-
Microbiology: B

Estimated GPA: 3.42
Estimated Science GPA: 3.34

Even though I made B's in Freshman Bio, I've done well in the upper level bio classes that I've taken. I know the GPA's need to come up...and I'm working on that. I'm hoping my extra curricular activities will help me out. They're listed here as well...

Indoor Cycling Instructor (1.5 years and counting)
ER Volunteer (1 year and counting)
President of Pre-Health Profession Honor Society (working to get AED established at our school)
Honor Court Member for 1 year
Clinical Internship with a Neurologist 2 years ago
Pre-Med Intern This Summer
Working on Research for Parkinson's Disease treatments with professor at my school.

My big question is: HOW AM I DOING?? Thanks so much for your help!

You seem to be doing good. Just keep those grades up and try to get that GPA past a 3.6. Rock the MCAT, keep those EC's strong (even diversify a little more), and you should be set. Good luck!

You're coming along fine.

Consider adding some nonmedical/noncampus weekly community service. Strategize to get some leadership experience. The teaching, clinical experience and research look good. Eventually you'll want to shadow more specialties; perhaps the internship will include some of that. Your first priority is great grades, so don't lose sight of that in the pursuit of excellent ECs. You still have a lot of GPA repair to do.
