2001 Kaplan Step 1 Lecture notes vs. 2006 version

An M4 at my school is selling a set of 2001 Kaplan Step 1 Lecture notes for $30. Has anyone compared the newer editions of the Kaplan lecture notes to the older ones to see if they're still relevant? I guess I'm not knowledgeable on how much the Step 1 has changed in the past 5 years...it would be a modern day tragedy to pour a bunch of time into old books just to save a few bucks only to find out later that they're completely outdated! Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Get the latest(2006) edition because, they have updated pharma,biochem,anatomy & path notes.

yeah 2001 is too far back. 2004 and above is OK
