this is a really good thread that should be of great help to future applicants. I just hope more people would post their stats. I think they may still be out celebrating. Come on guys, help us out!!!

I really don't think that my info willhelp you, but I will try---

--Med School: American
--Board Scores (COMLEX): Step 1 -457 Step 2- 472 Step 3- not taken yet!!
--AOA and class rank: I don't have a clue what my class rank is!!! But yes, is AOA of course

--Reputation of medical school: Don't know this info, never really cared to look it up in of of those magazines.

--Research: Worked on a paper with a resident in a trauma surgeon based on motorcycle accidents, paper has yet to be published, but we are working on it

--Honors in clerkships: My school does not have "honors" for grades, we just get, A,B,C, and F!!! I am assuming that an A is honors, so I will list them: IM, FP, Gen Surg, OB/GYN, Neuro (of course), and some of my grades are stil being determined as we speak!!

--# and where you did away rotations: Military, won't list the sites, not much use to you unless you are military

--# of programs you applied to: 5, on ly two of them neuro, hard to explain, but as part of military system, 2 neuro progs is all they offer

--Where invited for interviews: See previous question for explanation, but for neuro, really only two sites!!

--Name of the program matched: Madigan Army Medical Center

--Anything that helped your app: I honestly believe that I had a really strong LOR from military docs and former military docs, this definitely helped me out!!

So really, in summary, I don't think my info helped any of you out at all, but take it for what it is worth!!
