The new 2006 AADSAS just came out this afternoon. I notice that they are using a different schema for the ID. It doesnt look sequential like previous cycle anymore.

My ID starts with something like this: 2006021260#.

Also, you get the AADSAS ID when you create the online account, not when you submit the online application like others have said in the previous threads.

I dont know. It's the ID that's showing on the upper right hand side of my online application.

have you paid for it? you cant have an ID until you pay and everything is sent becuase the ID number is based on when you apply not when you create your username and password

i dont' think that is the real id. if i remember correctly last year there was an id created when you create the application then when they send you the pink sheet it is totaly different.

2006021260 = the reference ID

you won't get your real number till they send you a confirmation sheet by regular mail basically.

So, can we use this reference ID to send our transcripts and letters? I've already gave the Registrar the Matching Form with this ID. confused 😕
