i would've chosen A, because of that -O-C-N bond still present in the product. I know D would have it also, but I feel like the methoxide (CH3OH) would somehow attack the benzene group, with -OCH3 as the "leaving" group

i could be totally wrong though, this question looks weird

Has anyone who took the DAT, think that the 2007 dat sample is too easy?

It's comparatively easier, but not by a whole lot. I think I got a 21 on Bio, 24 on GC, and 30 on OC (OC was noticeably easier on 2007). I actually ended up doing better on the actual DAT than on the 2007/2009 exam, although the 2009 is pretty similar in difficulty (but then again, I took the 2007 ~2 weeks before my exam so I learned a whole bunch in those weeks).

The 2009 DAT's PAT is easier (I got a 82/90 on it, which is outrageous for me). The RC is about the same if not a bit harder on the 2009. The QR is harder on the 2009 than on the actual (2007 is a better indicator... but the real QR is possibly between the 2007 and 2009 exams regarding difficulty).
