I just took the ADA 2009 practice test, and I'm trying to convert my scores using

http://www.ada.org/sections/educationAndCareers/pdfs/dat_estimate_score.pdf

which I'm assuming is the right website from reading other threads. I don't understand how to convert my reading test scores from raw to standard. The conversion chart shows that a raw 17 is the highest you can get out of 50? I think my brain might be fried right now but can someone help me...pretty please?

also for those of you who took the online test, is there a way you can see your individual science scores, or do you have to go to the answers and count them individually?

This conversion chart is based off the 2007 practice exam which only contains one reading comp passage and thus 17 questions. Just take the number you got correct in 2009 and divide by 3 to find an estimated score on this conversion chart. Also note that because the 2009 is tougher than the 2007 version, add a point or two to all of your scores for a more accurate representation.

Thank you! Did you take the 2009 online ADA too? They don't give you the right answers do they, just correct or incorrect?

I don't know how the online one works. I have the paper version. The good news is the QR on the actual is a lot easier than 2009, same with the RC passages except the physics one. However, the bad news is Bio is a lot more difficult than the 2009. As you probably noticed, there weren't any "random" bio questions.

I wish I would've gotten the paper one. The online one doesn't even have the right answers and I can't revisit the questions.. :/ lame. RC and QR were my worst sections so I guess that's a plus! The math had so many mirror questions (reminded me of physics..eek) and coordinate geometry, I randomly guessed on those but I ended up with a 27 raw. How did the gen chem and PAT compare?

The buzz is GC and OC are similar and PAT is harder on the actual.
