Anyone here that got accepted into a pharmacy school program and is from Cal Poly Pomona?

Had 6 in USC 2 years ago, not sure about the 2 years since.

I did. I graduated last year. I had better luck with the schools that required the pcat. Didn't hear much from the CA schools. But I got into a few good schools.

Congrats on your acceptances. Yeah, I just transferred in Fall 08 and it doesn't seem that a lot of cal poly students know about this site. I should have talked about it to more pre-pharm students there, but by the time I got settled into the school and got to know some people at the end of Spring 09, it was already too late and the majority of them already had their interviews...... What was your degree in? I'm a chem major myself....

I was a bio major. Too bad there isn't a pre pharm club, but there is biosci & tri-beta. Did you take biochem yet? I had Dr. Alex & Mogul, they're both really cool. Goodluck when you apply, I would suggest taking the pcat if you have time before you apply. I think it's pretty helpful since the CA schools are really competitive.

Wow congrats! Which school did you end up choosing? I wonder if we had a class together...but I doubt it.....different departments.... unless you are taking biochem or freshman bio right now.....?
