So I just finished taking the 2009 ADA test and my scores are as follows:

Bio/GC/OC/PA/RC/QR
18/21/19/22/19/16
*Used conversion chart at bottom to calculate my scores. Ari says to add 1 pt to each science score since it is harder than the real DAT, but I didn't do so.

I also took the 5 BC Practice tests and my avgs are:

Bio/GC/OC/PA/RC/QR
18/20/18/18/20/20

My DAT is scheduled for Monday and I hope to score no lower than 20 in any section. Where do I stand with these scores? And was it it just me or is the RC and QR extra hard on the 2009 ADA test? A little bit worried...

Yeah I've read that the QR section of the 2009 exam was notoriously harder than normal. Not too sure about the RC however.

If you are hoping to score above 20 for every section, have you considered perhaps putting it off for another few weeks? Do you stand to lose anything by pushing (other than the late fee?) That's what I would personally do to feel a little bit more safe and comfortable.

I'm mainly just concerned for my Bio and OC scores because I tutor GC so I know must of the basic concepts, just made silly mistakes. I'm satisfied with my PAT score. For RC, I believe that I can score at least a 20 on test day because I've been scoring 21s on BC RC. I'm also unsure of QR since I scored so low, but on BC I received 18s-23s.

I was planning on reviewing my notes I took from AP BIO Cliff notes and maybe making flashcards for OC reactions. I tend to forget some of the reactions but I understand the concepts pretty well. And perhaps reviewing Chads OC videos for topics that are still unclear if I have time.

My QR score is what also really scares me I could live with an 18/19 but a 16?? :dead:

Also I think there are a few mistakes on the answer choices for NS after looking over the ones I got wrong, specifically numbers #14 isn't phosphate the intracellular buffer and bicarbonate is the extracellular buffer?, #17 shouldn't it be B cells create antibody-producing plasma cells.#18 fusion of male and female pronuclei should be final step of fertilization, not ovulation?, for #19 I can't find the answer to it but I think that answer should be using external source of energy. #90 in ochem none of the structures represent 7 Cs, and #97 aren't they constitutional isomers?

Aren't these the correct answers or am I mistaken? If so, then maybe I scored +1 or +2 higher than I originally thought?

How do you know what you scored in each section of the survey of natural sciences? Also it doesn't tell me which questions I missed, was it like that for you as well?

I used the conversion chart from Aris Study schedule from one of the last days. And I used the answers at the end of the Virginia Tech pdf to check which ones I got wrong although I know there is a few mistakes to the answer key

Oh makes sense! Thank you, also if you don't mind me asking, how did you end up doing on the DAT? My scores are close and comparable to the ones you have on your 2009 ADA. My test is less than a week away and I'm really nervous!

I scored much better, but that is because I reviewed all the topics I struggled with on the ADA test and BC for the next 2-3 days leading to my exam.

My real scores were
Bio/GC/OC/PAT/RC/QR
19/23/20/25/17/21

Yes the 2009 test QR had a few questions that were completely different than anything I have ever seen with the foci points and stuff. Other than that the probability, algebra and other questions on math were similsr.
