I had called some schools and they are stating that they will not begin processing '09 applications until mid to late august, while some schools have already started. So I wanted to ask what you guys think if I push my DAT exam to early to mid august, and would this have any effect on my application status? Oh, and I already e-submitted my aadsas application, so all I need is my DAT score.

early to mid august would probably not have much effect.
either way you'll not be considered early (adding 2 weeks for DAT scores to be sent and 3 weeks if you added schools later) so it's either school will receive your DAT by the mid August or early September

If you don't feel comfortable, then I would probably just push it and aim for higher score

If I just submitted my application yesterday, am I still considered early or no?

i'm taking the DAT july 24th
