I may be jumping the gun here, but I've started writing my personal statement and was wondering if anyone would be willing to read it (right now it is pretty bad so I need all the help I can get😀). I've done a search and haven't found a list of readers for this upcoming cycle, but if there is please lead me to it. Thanks!

This year, again; i'll read personal statements.

While not formally trained I am actually a decent writer, the only credentials I have is my (T) on the MCAT writing section.

You can PM me your PS, and I will read through them in order received at my leisure. Just a warning depending on volume received, and other various time constraints I would expect it to take a maximum of 3 weeks to be reviewed, though it also may be substantially less...

I can scan for content. I had mine corrected/revised 1000 times over by advisors, writers, and ex-adcoms and I picked up some nice tricks. If you have atrocious syntax Ill tear it up, but I'm no linguist.

PM me and ill give you my email

I'm willing to read Personal Statements up until I start medical school (in August of this year).

I work for Kaplan, so I have training in grading essays. I also worked in a writing center during college and did well on the writing portion of the MCAT (an S). I'll try my best to help anyone out, just PM me.

check out the personal statement reader list in the Pre Allo section. There are A LOT of users on here who have agreed to read personal statements. It doesnt matter if its for AMCAS or AACOMAS.
