Let me get this straight...the only way you can qualify for the FAP for this cycle is if you plan on applying to only ONE dental school?! That is ridiculous. This is my second time applying, and I received assistance this past cycle as well as I applied to 10+ schools. This new policy is horrible, its already tough to apply to dental school as is, and now, if I want any assistance, I can only apply to ONE school or automatically be denied?!

Well it is a gesture of them to even offer anything. How many companies offer anything even like this? They are a business and they are out to make money.

On the other hand, I couldn't agree more. That is pretty bogus and just goes to show that everything is getting to the point where services are being cut and costs are going up, with that, great programs such as this are being eliminated. Well by offering the program they still come off as trying to help students but in reality it's a lame duck program now that will only serve about an extremely small amount of people.

You can apply to as many schools as you want, but only the first school's fee will be refunded to you ($227).

Still a pretty substantial cut from last year.
