2011 Step I dates

Hey everyone, I don't think this has been posted yet, but I was wondering how scheduling your Step I test date works, and when we will know the available dates. The reason I ask is that I'm getting married in June and I am taking step I probably 5-6 days before I get married.

I know, it's a little crazy, but I'm a dude so I just need to show up basically .

IMHO, it's a horrible idea to get married that close to your test date! Although your fiance may be doing the most of the work, that close to your wedding will be super hectic and she will need all the support she can get. I haven't taken the boards yet, but having taken other standardized test before I know the week before I need all the support, calm, and peace in my life as possible. To each is own though, I'm just saying...

All I know is that we're supposed to be able to register in November, according to First Aid (I think the general process of registration is outlined in the beginning of FA).

It would be helpful if someone who's gone thru the process could comment. I've been wondering about scheduling, too, even though I'm not getting married any time soon 😉😀.
