I am currently a junior and have taken Gen Chem I and II, Orgo I and II, Physics I and II, 2 Intro Bio classes, and am currently in BioChem I with plans to take II next semester.
What I would like to do is finish out my junior year with excellent grades and enroll in a MCAT class starting in early June and ending in early August which would prepare me for a test in mid-late August. I would complete my applications and submit them as early as possible and send my MCAT score from that August test as soon as I receive it. However, the problem that I encounter is that if I would like to take the exam again, I would be taking it in January of 2015, which as all of you know would be the new test. I fear that taking two different tests would not serve as an accurate comparison. Many people have suggested taking a class and prepping for the exam during my spring semester and taking an April exam and if necessary then possibly one in August. However, I would be taking 18 credits while working 20+ hours a week so I do not see it feasible to add MCAT prep to that and expecting to excel in all three.
Not sure what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
