2018 Early Application or Later Help

Hey guys,

Just a quick question on the application. I've heard from my dentist that I work for and other current students to send in my apps ASAP. They are saying that it will increase my chances but i've read on here that it doesn't really matter when you send it as long as it is before september.

BUT my question is, I have a DAT score but I am taking it again for a better score. If I send in my applications on 6/1 with my current score and update my DAT score late july or early august, would that be okay? I don't want schools to have already looked at my application with my first score and just be like 'ehhhh. trash bin.' and then just waste my time updating. Or is it better that I send everything early and just update it? Does it not hinder my chances at the school?

I just want to get the application part over with, so I can just focus on working and studying for my 2nd DATs.

100% agree. Each school is different on that. Nobody is better to answer that than the actual school themselves.
**Make sure that information is not on their website though. I know that I have seen that under a few FAQ lists. Asking a question that is clearly posted does not reflect well.**
