If you are reapplying to this program, how have you strengthened your application?

Anyone reapplying this year? Does this need to be in an essay format?
I have just retaken a few prereqs. and have been working as an Aide. I don't know what else to write besides that. Any advice will be appreciated.

Have you improved your essay, GRE scores, more volunteer hours outside you aide job, better references?

I was in your shoes. I wrote a paragraph stating that I improved my GPA, took more classes (listed which ones), got more observation hours (more observation in this and that setting which allowed me to understand various clinical settings, got exposed to more variety of patient population,etc etc). I did not state that my references were better although I knew they were... Maybe if you need to mention your references, just say something like people who wrote LOR spent more time with you and know you better.
