Does anyone know the international student acceptance stats at the school? Can't seem to find anything

@wysdoc there is also an essay if you choose "highly interested" for either the Problem-Based Learning Curriculum (PBLC) or Synergistic Guided Learning Curriculum (SGLC).

"Please prepare an essay that explains why you want to participate in the Problem-Based Learning Curriculum (PBLC) and why you are a good fit for this curricular track." PBLC would be SGLC if you chose that one

+1 OOS Secondary received Monday. Can't tell if there is a character or word limit.

For this question: Have you met with a Rowan-Virtua SOM admissions representative or attended an event on our campus
is it a red flag to say no, I know they offer the admissions review on their site but I never thought to do it, (Im an NJ resident as well idk if that makes it worse that I havent gone to any events)

Also is this optional essay a true optional essay for people who relate to it, i feel like i should not be putting a challenge essay if it wasn't super serious?

I left the optional essay blank, if you have some genuine adversity/challenges then I would write it, but I didn't want to add more fluff for them to read through

Since there's no word count, how many do you think is a good amount to aim for, my shortest is around 300 right but I see people saying to aim for 500?

I have a couple around 450 and then a long one that’s close to 850ish

All of my essays are in the 300s... Is that bad?
Honestly, mine all hovered about the 430ish mark- on average. I don't think you can write responses that exceed 500 or 600 words without it sounding like you're rambling. I think it would be annoying to read. I've always followed that same thought pattern in all my writing and it's always worked in my favor. Just my thought.

I’m not sure the detail behind deferred acceptance. I know you can’t defer for acceptance during regular cycle. Maybe it’s different from ppl on the WL. However I did expressed interest multiple times during WL so that could have changed. I’m literally at orientation for another med school.

Does anyone have advice on how to differentiate the Why Rowan and Why Early Decision essays? and how long should the why early decision essay be around? I don't know how to make it more than around 100-200 words without repeating what I've already said about Why Rowan.

did you send in an application for the new cycle or did the school reach out to you about the acceptance?

They reached out. I didn't apply for this cycle. However, they did say earlier, around July, when the class just closed, that I should apply for early decision for this cycle.

I just submitted my secondary, and I was looking at the letters of recommendation requirements. My undergraduate institution does not have a pre-health committee or office letter, but I do have a letter from a pre-med advisor. Would that work? I only have one science professor instead of two because the other one basically ghosted me. Any advice??

call the school

Does anyone have their LOR not complete yet? I submitted mine through AACOMAS
My LORs are still waiting for review by Admissions. If you have submitted them through AACOMAS you are fine. The Application has this text in the LOR tab:

"It can take up to 4 weeks from the receipt of a completed secondary to review your letters of recommendation. Please do not contact the Admissions Office to inquire about the status of your letters."

It is bolded highlighted underlined and italicized.

21.) Have you shadowed or worked with an Osteopathic Physician?
a.) If yes, please provide the name of the Osteopathic Physician:

I am really worried about this question because I have worked with a lot of osteopathic physicians in my clinical jobs, but I don't remember their names. Is it ok to list just 1 I shadowed and 1 I worked with?

you don’t need to use their real names, just take the real experiences that you have with them
