Hey guys,

I know most of you will say that I am way below average to even think about applying but I am very stressed out and lost 🙁 Please help.

My stats:

1. 3.58 cgpa from community college. Transferred to UCI and have cgpa of 3.81 and sgpa of 3.65. My overall GPA is cgpa 3.73 and sgpa 3.49.

2. First MCAT attempt: 20 O - 7p 5v 8b (After taking Kaplan and averaging 25-28 on practice exams)

Second MCAT attempt: 22 M - 7p 6v 9b (after studying for 3 months everyday and averaging 26-30 on practice exams)

I have very strong letters of recs, 2 years of research exp, paper published, recipient for various scholarships, a lot of ECs, 300 hours in volunteering etc.

Should I apply? and where? I know i have no chance at Allopathic schools. Is osteopathic still possible? PLEASE help 🙁

I can retake the mcat in august however I have lost a lot of hope and confidence in me about MCAT! I don't know what miracle would make my mcat score go high....

Thank you so much!

Your chance is very low with 22 MCAT. Even if your GPAs are above average for DO school but that mcat will probably kill your chances. Retake the mcat and aim for 24+. Apply and see what happens since your ECs are strong.
