Why cant there be a separate senior residents/fellows/junior attendings type forum, so we dont all have to look at the "MaTcH 2006! woohoo I got an interview at East Arkansas State" posts.... 🙄

I agree LADoc, but it is "studentdoctor.net". Say that too much and they might kick us out for too much Flow, fat aspirations, and Immuno talk.

But they would ask us to stick arround so we can talk about Salary. :meanie:

Hey man, the pd at East Arkansas State absolutely loooooved me. I am agonizing between ranking East Ark. St. vs. South Boise St. U. Medical Center.

You know when the closed down the professional path forum at pathologyoutlines, they directed all the posters to come here? LOL thats how I ended up here.

Seriously, all this "OMG, the PD at East Michigan Community Clinic thinks Im the PWN! What handbag should I wear to my second lookback visit?" is funny in its own ******ed gimped way, but maybe its time for the bigger kids to break off.

Try and get SDN to give us a sub forum, or just set off on our own?
I agree, I don't mind answering MS and sub-MS questions, however a Path Res+ section would be useful.

How about not reading threads that don't interest you. That's a whole lot easier.

There really isn't enough traffic to justify subforums. While it would be nice at times to weed out a lot of the repeated questions from people who join to post a question that has been asked 5 times already, it's not that hard to ignore them or direct them to the prior post. Posts tend to follow the trends of who is hanging around - generally med students hang around more, and thus the posts reflect that. If more senior residents were here and posted more frequently things would be different.

We could always make our own forum on a separate page. I think there are separate forum websites out there that would allow us to do so.

I think that would be even less optimal - how would you publicize it? We could have Andy walk around at USCAP with a sign on him or something. 😉

Ouch. No, really, I find the "I'm going for a second interview at Lower Tennessee State University Medical Center and I am not sure what shoes I should wear" posts fascinating. Seriously, they are great, great posts...............................................................................

That would be quite suboptimal. If we did create this new forum...I would want to stay as anonymous as possible.

Dude. He's pulling a classic on ya.
As if you didn't know that the fastest way to make mincemeat of a suggestion is to have the suggestor work on it.

Why don't just title your thread/posts "FOR SENIOR RESIDENTS/FELLOWS/JUNIOR ATTENDINGS ONLY", instead of "?". You'd be declaring your l337ness and making sure it'll forever be retrievable with Search.

Plus, everyone would read it. So I don't see any downside at all.

Ohhhh, yessss!! I haven't had this much fun since the vet chopped my nuts off. But seriously, have you ever talked to a woman without giving your credit card number?

I have a credit card. I just need a big ape to help me with stubborn jam jar covers.

Yes. I bring massive amounts of cash instead. 😉

Holla!

Modern dating=formalized prostitution with lots of lying involved.

No clue why real prostitution is a crime. I could easily call the cops on a dozen ex's for bona fide "pandering".

LADoc00 says a dozen...but you really have to divide by 3 and what he's really saying is that he could call the cops on exactly 4 ex's.
