So I'm a senior now and I need some planning advise. Next semester (my last semester), I have to take 6 hours of non-science general ed requirements and 7 hours of psychology to get a Biology BA and a Psychology BS degree. However, I can ditch the psychology major and free up those 7 hours to take extra science classes. This will be my last semester and my science GPA is in the gutter so this is why I'm asking.

Check predents profile for stats, I'm applying this cycle. Realistically speaking, after this semester, my science GPA will be up to ~3.2 on a good case scenario.

Of course none of this would matter if I get into d-school this cycle but this is just incase I don't get in.

take science classes to raise science gpa, without a doubt

i would take more science class to increase your science gpa. plus, dental school is all science so if you can handle a heavy science load and do well, you will do fine in dental school!

Absolutely agree with everyone, take the science courses! They arent going to care if you have 2 majors if your science gpa is in the hole. Science gpa is more important for D-schools then a second major. Good Luck!

Extra sciences...My upper division science classes were the general science majors "extra" classes....and they definitely helped in dental school. Didn't make my senior year too much fun (or too easy) though.

Have you received interviews from any of the schools listed in your predents profile?

Nope, not a single interview yet although I applied very early (colleges should have received everything by August at the latest). I'm starting to think I might have screwed something up. :-/

I applied early too and didn't get my first interview until first week of December - the first two were at Nova and Tufts.
