So I just took my second MCAT today and despite feeling well about the BS and PS sections, I feel I may have under performed on the VR section again. I practiced for a whole month after my last Fall semester and I was making improvements.
I took the Aug 15 Exam and ended up at the low end of my range 10/6/10 PS/VR/BS
What happens if my new MCAT involves better science scores and slightly better or same VR score 😱.
I just think it would be awful to end up with say a 12/7-8/13 or something along those lines even though its above 30 composite.
I have a 3.7 overall GPA with a steep upward trend sophomore year through senior year. (Every semester was a 4.0, Bio Major).
I've worked in a lab, volunteered for 250 hours at a level 1 trauma center, Peer leader for physics study groups, EMT for about a year but had to quit due to injury. I'm also part of the medicina scholars program at my state medical school.
I just don't know what to think, I was set on MD but at this point I'd be fine with D.O.
Are my chances still okay?
Any advice? I feel like i shot myself in the foot again. 😕
Thank you for reading!
