Just wondering what the second PS prompt is related to? I did the first one about 'why dentistry' but I'm not sure what to write about for the second one since i don't know the topic (i know its not officially out yet, just want an general idea). Any pointers are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

2nd personal statement?

Never heard of a second personal statement prompt, or any prompt at all for that matter. As far as I know, you write just one personal statement about whatever you want (though of course what you choose to write about should be important and relevant).

Where did you hear you needed to write two personal statemnts?

This guys is adorable

I think he meant the prompt of the secondary application? I know, for example, UCLA requires primary and secondary applications to be submitted at the same time.

In these cases, I am pretty sure you can find their application form their admission site.

There is no secondary prompt for your personal statement on AADSAS. Here is what the instructions say for the current cycle though:

The personal essay provides an opportunity for you to explain why you desire to pursue dental education.
It is recommended to compose your essay in a text-only word processor (e.g., Notepad), review your essay for errors, and cut and paste the final version into the text box. The essay is limited to approximately one page (4,500 characters, including spaces).

What should you write?
The Admissions Committee members who read your essay are looking for individuals who are motivated, academically prepared, articulate, socially conscious, and knowledgeable about the profession. Write about your experiences and any qualities that will make you stand out. Check the ADEA Official Guide to Dental Schools for ideas about essays.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
