I know we were all very excited for the 1st round of dental school acceptances when they came out December 2. I was wondering is there a specific date designated for the 2nd round of acceptances to be offered by schools?

Varies by the school. Some sent out a second round in mid-december, others are waiting until january/february.

Most wait for the deposits from the first round and then once they know who committed from that group they shoot out more mid January ish. My friend has 7 acceptances and is only accepting one so he's freeing up 6 spots right there.
