2nd round of acceptances

I'm sure this was asked in previous threads, but i didnt know how to word the search phrase. I was just wondering how d-schools go about with their acceptances/rejections after Dec. 3. Do they do it in waves, or can you expect to hear back any day of any week post december 3? I do realize most schools wont do anything until around january when students officially accept/decline offers. Just wasn't sure if there are certain dates that they release their status updates.

I got an acceptance from Maryland on 12/13.

hey guys, two schools I know for sure, OSU and UDM send out acceptances in waves. That's what they told me. I'm guessing it varies from school to school
