Okay, seems like everyone asks this, but I just wanted to get a head count and some legitimate arguments.

Okay here are the 2 sides - 3 weeks out, World done, 40 percent of Qbank left.

Now, I was reading through step 1 experiences - and everyone keeps on saying "Qbank sucks" (or the equivalent), and "if I could do it over I'd do world again" When I do a block of 50 from Qbank, I spend forever trying to memorize the details associated w/questions because I'm OCD and end up studying everything I get wrong and why.

At the same time I dont get questions wrong twice often. If I go through a block of 50 from World I'll get 48 of them right. BUT, everyone keeps on saying how "if they could do it again they'd do World over". So now I'm totally stuck. Do World again.... Do Qbank... I was thinking about breaking whichever bank I do by organ system this next week to make sure that I get them all down conceptually (since the 5-days prior I'll be breaking it down by subject as per the Upenn plan).

Any feedback? Should I just cave and do both? That'd put me at an ungodly amount of questions so I'm not too sure if that's better than just extra review/reading.

Keep in mind I'm aiming for as high as possible so those people that would suggest "take a few days off and drink", i'll do that after boards and I appreciate the consideration (there are always a few people in favor of rest..).

Since you've paid for both, I would do as much of both as you can. You are learning by reading the explanations of what you got wrong, and, if the database companies did their job right, it is all higher yield than just extra reading.

OCD is not something you can "be".

I'm in a BAD MOOD with QBank today.

8 questions on a block of 50 on ANATOMY?!?! QTF?!?!?

Do UWorld.

Are you saying you really believe he has OCD?

Nah, but people say they are ADD or they are OCD instead of having those disorders. "I'm breast cancer."

Why do medical students always seem to pride themselves on obsessive-compulsive behaviors, anyway?

Anyways, I'm gonna finish Qbank by organ system and learn as much as I can along the way, at the same time do a block of 50 World that I got wrong daily, then finish up world again the last week or so before the exam.

Regardless of how doing a Qbank twice is bad, a lot of questions I get wrong because "I didnt think that way", or "I didnt even read the problem like that", those mistakes shouldnt be happening anymore and hopefully I can iron em out.

Thanks for the replys.
