whats up people, congrats to all who were accepted
I was wondering if anyone with 3.2 overall gpa was accepted for this cycle so far? and if you dont mind could you tell us you other gpa's (non sci, sci, bcp) and dat scores, along with how many times you applied? so us folks who are in similar situations can have a brighter outlook for the next cycle.

Guess I'll start.

The GPA I have right now in predents.com is actually the updated GPA after another 20 units or so since I submitted back in May.

The GPA and DAT that schools used to based their judgement on is the following:

3.29 overall/3.4 sci/2.96 non sci

My DAT score is 24 AA an 25 PAT.

I had 5 pre-december 1st interview and got 4 acceptances so far.

This is my first time applying.

My GPA is ~3.2 and my DAT is 21/21/21. This was my 2nd time applying, and I have been accepted to Nova.

How about 3.2 BCP? Served with a side of 3.18 science, 3.52 non-science, and finished with a drizzle of 3.28 overall.

DAT was 20AA (21 TS) and 19 PAT. There was a 24 in bio just to kick things up a notch.

First-time applicant. Applied to nine schools, interview invites for five (pre-Dec 1), and at least one acceptance on Nov 30 (possibly more if they went via snail mail).

Wow! It's good to know that people with comparable stats to mine have gotten in despite the ever increasing average GPA and DAT of the acceptees. GPA wise we may be below average but we all have something tangible or intangible that got us in.👍 Congrats to everybody.

These people are probably going to be too busy doing other stuff than checking SDN.... man, they've graduated DS, finished their residencies, and probably well on their way doing their private practice! My coworker got into a dental school with similar stats (not OSU). She had 1 interview out and 17 or so no-interview rejections.

It's possible, but difficult. Get that DAT up and you will have much better luck.
