3.26 cGPA, 3.15 sGPA, 29 MCAT (balanced) interested in DO

If you've already retaken your courses, I am a bit puzzled as to why your GPAs are still quite low. Did you do well on your retakes? And do you have biochemistry? 6 semester hours of biochemistry are required at all DO schools, though your other science pre-reqs seem fine. At this point, you should just apply to 15+ schools on June 1st. You should receive interview invites from some newer DO schools. I would also suggest retake more courses to raise your sGPA to at least a 3.3.

Where does it say that you need this? lol which school even offers 6 hours of biochem cause I sure as hell don't have this at my school.

False.

Well, my bad. Some schools do require 3 hours of biochemistry though and others require social sciences/humanities courses as well.

As of this current cycle, only 5 DO schools require biochemistry (RVU, DMU, KCUMB, UNECOM, and MUCOM). I'm sure that count will rise soon now that it's become a part of the MCAT, but right now it's not totally necessary unless you apply to those schools. Even so, you can apply to those schools and then take biochemistry after getting accepted.

The reason why my GPAs are still quite low is because I have a lot of credit hours (changed majors part way through) and I don't have too many C's in science courses and a lot of B's.

I have all A's and one B on my science retakes - my sGPA without retakes is only a 3.01.

Well, if you apply really early this upcoming cycle, you might get some interviews. In the meantime, I recommend take some upper level sci courses since it seems grade replacement doesn't actually help you in your case.

I had very similar stats, albeit with a masters and a high gpa in my ms program. I ended up getting some D.O and M.D interviews.
