So, I just took EK 2f and 3g and made a 32 (12 PS/10 VR/10 Bio) and a 33 (12 PS/11 Bio/10 VR), respectively.

It seems that my floor is in the low 30's. However, I am aiming for a minimum of a 36 with 12's across the board. Is this doable?

I am quite surprised at my VR score -- English has always been my strong suit, not science.

What would you suggest to move up 3 points in a month? Thanks.

the difference b/t 10's and 12's is at most a few questions
i think it's definitely doable as you have a firm grasp of the material with consistent 30+
the trick now is to go back over each section and cut down those careless errors.

It can be done.

I would suggest locking down the science a little better. There has to be some weak area to look over. Luck plays a part too.

Verbal is your best bet. Get it up to 12 and add a couple of points on the sciences.

It is possible but with that said it is alot easier to go from a 27 to a 30-31.

You may be getting close to your top out score. Just keep at it and remember low 30's is a great score!!

You should try some AAMC tests and see what your score. The EK FLs are not considered a good predictor of MCAT success.

Pretending for a second that those are AAMC scores, yes, it's possible. First off, start doing 3-5 verbal practice passages per day. Verbal is usually the toughest section to improve. With the sciences, just take practice section tests/practice problems. Remember to always take your practice problems under timed conditions and to THOROUGHLY review them. I found the BerkeleyReviewTeach's Hat Trick helpful:

Put all the MCAT topics onto separate pieces of paper. Put the all the BS topics and PS topics into spearate hats. To use the hats, pull out three topics and try to connect them all together. Next, make up in your head what a passage would look like and what kinds of questions you'd see. Lastly, if you feel shaky on one of the topics or you can't connect them, review the topics again in your content review books.

Thanks guys. I go over every exam methodically after I take it. 3 of the 11 questions I missed on the last exam in the PS section (77 question FL -- old version) were on magnetism. Simple stuff like right hand rule and F=qvB, and 4 others were very stupid (i.e., I disregarded the fact that a higher pH means less hydrogen ions 🙄). So there is room for some quick improvement with concentration/weak area.

SN2Ed, I took AAMC 3 2 months ago when I was just starting studying and I made a 29 on it. It is of course the easiest AAMC, but it seems about right that my grade would have gone up 4 points in 2 months of serious, hard studying. I took my last EK exam today and I am going to do the Kaplan Fl's I have for the next 11 days (1 test a day). I am saving up my AAMC ones for 10 days before the test.

What are the difference between those and 7-11?

from what I've read here, 10 and 11 are ridiculously hard and not representative of what you might see on test day at all. It makes sense, the writers used all the good questions and passages on the first tests they wrote and had to stretch to write the last few tests.
