I really want to get into medical school!
my cgpa is 3.43
sgpa is 3.388
I just got done with my second year of University at UC Santa Cruz. I will be transferring to UC Davis next year.
for prerequisites I have 1 year of Ochem left, 1 quarter of Bio, and a couple labs.
Will be taking the MCAT next year and will apply as well.
Money is not a problem for me, and I will be applying to most DO schools in the US + some lower tier MD schools if I get a high MCAT score.
For EC so far I have:
-Leader of Praxis community service club for 1 year
--member of the Sierra Club (raising awareness to protect our Earth)
-member of UC Santa Cruz premed club
Volunteering so far:
~75 hours community service at my hometown hospital (will do more this summer)
Shadowing:
-Shadowing a DO doctor over summer.
If I score around 27-28 on the MCAT, what are my chances of getting into med school in the US?
